General Purchase & Upgrade

Q. I had a problem purchasing Morpheus Ultra™, what do I do?
A. Please contact support at support@softwrap.com for purchase support.

Q. Am I entitled to free upgrades of Morpheus Ultra™?
A. There is no restriction on the number of free upgrades you can download.

Q. How do I upgrade?
A. Once you have downloaded the latest version, run through the installation process until you get to the purchase screen and choose 'Upgrade' as the purchase type. You may need to have the software license number, which was sent via email at time of purchase.

Q. What happens when my upgrade license expires?
A. It does not expire. You can upgrade as often as you would like. You will always be able to use the version you have when you are sent the upgrade notice.

Q. I purchased Morpheus Ultra more than six months ago. How do I update or get my last qualified version?
A. While using Morpheus Ultra if an update is available, you will be alerted with a pop up dialog and offered a discount rate to update. If you do not wish to pay for upgrade, you can still get your last qualified version of the software based on your date of purchase. Please visit the http://www.morpheusultra.com/lastupdate/ to download the version you are entitled to.

Q. Why Update?
A. It is highly recommended that you update whenever notified of an available newer Morpheus software to ensure having the latest network updates, search, and download technology for the best performance. Morpheus releases updates on a frequent basis and we do not notify users of every release; only the significant ones. Please note if you have had your license for more than 6 months your license may not be allowed to update and you will need to extend your license.

Q. What is the refund policy for Morpheus Ultra™?
A. As with most purchased software, we do not offer refunds. If you encounter a problem with the software that is not answered in the Wiki or Forums, please try to uninstall and reinstall the software.
If you are requesting a refund for another reason or would like more info then please address an email to MorpheusUltraRefundInfo@morpheus.com to receive more information.

Q. What if I still have payment or install-related questions?
A. If you purchased Morpheus Ultra™ online, you may send an email to support@softwrap.com for technical support related to license issues only. Include your name, License Holder Name, Purchase Reference Number and software title. Before sending an e-mail, please read the entire FAQ section to see if your question has already been answered.

Q. Who do I contact if I have a question about Morpheus Ultra?
A. Please contact support@softwrap.com for technical questions related to license or purchasing only. Any other questions should be addressed in the Morpheus® Forum™.

Q. Do you offer email or phone support?
A. Not at this time.

Q. I have to reformat my hard drive. How will I get Morpheus Ultra working again after that?
A. After your computer is up and running again, download and install Morpheus Ultra. When you launch it, type in your License Holder Name and your Purchase Reference Number to begin.

Q. I do not know my License Holder Name and your Purchase Reference Number, how do I get it?
A. If you have lost this information visit http://www.softwrap.com/page.aspx?section_id=9 to retrieve it using the email address you used during purchase. If you do not know the email address used when you made your purchase, please send an email to support@softwrap.com with your name, city, zip code, approximate purchase date and last four digits of the credit card used. They should be able to provide you with your codes.

Q. I am new to using Morpheus®, where can I get an introduction?

Q.How do I disable Morpheus® being my default media player?
A. During install you had the option to remove this setting along with some others. If you'd like to stop Morpheus from being your default media player:
Navigate to Preferences > Local settings. Uncheck the option set to "Always Play Media files with Morpheus ". . 

Q. What are the minimum system requirements for Morpheus®?
A.

  • Operating System: Windows 2000/XP
  • Software: Windows Media Player 7 or higher. Windows Media 10 recommended.
  • Processor and memory: 500 MHz Processor or equivalent; 128 MB RAM or more.

Q. What is special or different about the NEONet™ implementation of DHT?
A. The NEONet™ DHT algorithm returns faster search results on very large networks; much faster than other variations on this algorithm.

Q. What is BitTorrent**?

Q. What is a DHT?
A. A Distributed Hash Table (DHT) is an advanced form of peer-to-peer search that has no horizon. If all available content on the network is visible to all users, even if there is only a single copy. 

Q. How do I stop Morpheus Ultra ™ from launching at Windows startup?
A. Click on the Preferences button and navigate to General . Uncheck the option 'Run Morpheus at Windows startup'.

Q. How do I uninstall Morpheus Ultra ™?
A. Navigate to your Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs in Windows. Locate the Morpheus uninstaller and simply run it to remove Morpheus.
Please note that the uninstaller does not remove your downloaded or shared folders.
